Features

ShopSite is rich in features and easy to use at the same time.  You won’t need to know HTML to build your pages and you can easily customize your site.  Here are a few of the features that we liked:

• Setup Wizard – Create your pages in as little as 15 minutes using the setup wizard.

• HTML Editor – No need to know HTML.  ShopSite provides an editor to make your layout and formatting simple. 

• Power Edit – ShopSite lets you edit multiple products at the same time.  You simply choose the options you want to edit and the Power Edit function makes the changes on all products in a category.

• Sitemaps – ShopSite creates Google style XML sitemaps that direct potential buyers to your site through search engines.

• Real-Time Shipping Quotes – ShopSite lets you include UPS, FedEx, and USPS real-time shipping quotes.

• Tax Calculation – Using the buyer’s zip code, ShopSite will automatically calculate the sales tax.

• Back Office – ShopSite’s BackOffice feature allows you to quickly view, print, and download an order as well as import it into any application. 

• Statistics – Detailed traffic reports and sales reports are built in to ShopSite.

Installation and Administration

As a server based software, ShopSite installation is easy as there is no software to download.  You simply follow the step-by-step instructions on the site to get your store up and running.  And, administration is easy with the browser based icon interface.  The point and click design is easy for beginners and the software offers advanced features for more experienced users.
